Alexander Shadrin was born in 1942 in the village of Karaidel in Bashkortostan, Russia. After graduating from high school, he studied in Krasnoyarsk at the Art School . Military service sent him to Sevastopol, Crimea. In 1970, he graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of the Oryol branch of the Moscow Art Institute. He has participated in many regional, national and international exhibitions. His works are kept in seven art museums in Ukraine as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, England, France, Italy and the United States. In 2003, Shadrin was awarded the title “ Honored Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”.
