Gennadi Grishchenko was born in 1940. He studied at the Krasnodar Art Pedagogical College. Later, he studied in the Industrial Art Department at the Art Industrial Institute in Kharkov in the Ukraine from 1963 to 1968. He has lived and worked in Voronezh since 1974. Although he is best known as a painter, he has created over 200 drawings and 60 etchings. Throughout the years, he has participated in Republic and Zone exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Rostov, and Orel. He is a member of the Artist’s Union of Russia and has taken part in many exhibits.
